Owner is responsible for
State of Florida Veterinary fee.
All horses permanently
leaving the United States are required to undergo 30 day pre-export
isolation quarantine.
All mares and stallions more
than 2 years of age (731 days), entering the United States, are
required to undergo quarantine and testing for Contagious Equine
Metritis. C.E.M. quarantine must take place at an officially U.S.D.A.
prescribed facility.
Please contact us directly or
through your shipper for set up of the required quarantine procedures
for your imported or export horses.
On receipt of your signed
contract we will prepare and then send to you all necessary laboratory
and veterinary health administration documentation. We aim to make
procedures as easy and comfortable as possible for you.
All horses must undergo
standard arrival quarantine near the airport. This will take 2 to 3
days in most cases. We will then organize the transport to our location
in a sealed trailer.
Mares: Will
undergo several cultures and testing.
Stallions:
Stallions have to cover two mares, obtained especially for that
purpose, and must undergo a special testing program together with these
mares.
